Meet Grover Chillington!
Grover's journey began at a high-kill shelter in Houston. He was sadly placed on the euthanasia list, but a wonderful foster family stepped in to save him, and we're so glad they did because Grover is pure perfection! He's estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs around 48 pounds, making him a perfect medium-sized companion. Grover is the epitome of chill, with an old soul and a gentle, loving nature. He enjoys being part of the family's activities, whether it's relaxing in the backyard, going for walks, or snuggling up for a nap. While he loves exploring, he's not a high-energy dog; a couple of daily walks and quality time with his people are all he needs to be happy. He's content to stay close to his loved ones, even with the freedom of a farm! Grover is house-trained, has excellent house manners, settles well indoors, and isn't destructive. He's also great off-leash. He gets along with everyone he meets and quickly wins over both people and animals with his charming personality. Grover has done well with other dogs and farm animals, and we think he might be a hound/cattle dog mix, though his true heritage is a mystery! He's not a big barker and has a lower energy level, making him a truly special companion.
