Meet Hachi! This sweet 2-year-old, 50lb pup is a true testament to resilience and love. Hachi spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel, rescued from a hoarding situation, and never knew the warmth of a loving home. Despite his past, Hachi's spirit remains incredibly gentle and affectionate. He's a total love bug who thrives on human connection, adores children, and greets everyone with a wagging tail. He truly cherishes the simple things like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family – luxuries he never experienced before. Hachi is crate trained, potty trained, and eager to find his forever home. While he can be a bit of a "big tough guy" with timid dogs, he does well with confident canine companions after slow introductions. He's a medium-energy boy, always ready for an adventure but equally happy to relax by your side. Hachi is looking for a home where he'll be cherished and included, finally experiencing the life he deserves. He's currently working on gaining weight and would benefit from some extra treats to reach his ideal weight of around 60 lbs.
