Hey there! My name is Megan, and I'm named after the amazingly cool Megan Rapinoe! My foster momma says that's quite fitting because there's a ton of cool stuff about me. I'm unique in all kinds of beautiful ways, from my multi-colored coat to my ocean-blue, island-colored eyes. My foster momma says anyone who meets me just falls in love! I also love the outdoors and going for walks, I'm incredibly curious, and I'm super enthusiastic about learning. The best thing about my enthusiasm for learning is that I do it a little differently because I'm deaf! While I don't learn by hearing, I still learn by seeing and using my rockstar sniffer. My foster momma's neighbors have been blown away by how attentive I can be when I'm focused. I also love a schedule and am doing very well with my routine. I haven't had any accidents in the house and I know that the outdoors is my designated potty spot. Pottying outside isn't always my favorite because I absolutely hate to be cold, but I always get the job done! Right now, I'm learning to respond to my foster momma's signs for my name, "sit," "good job," and "no" (and I don't get this sign a lot, but I'm still learning that my bed isn't a toy, hehe). I also love to play and be held! For the most part, I've adjusted to my kennel and do a good job sleeping through the night. I may whine here and there, but then I'm right back to sleep. I don't bark much, but when I do, it's only because I'm trying to understand where you're going. I haven't had time around cats or children, but I'm super sweet and chill, so it should be a great time if I have the opportunity. The few times I've interacted with my neighbor dog pals through the fence, I did a pretty great job. Training me will be really important, but I love to learn, so it'll be a fun time for all of us, especially with the right resources. I'm ready to find my forever home! Could I be the new, amazingly cool addition to your family? Because the kind of love I give lasts forever! Yours truly, Megan.

Training & Support
I am deaf, so training will rely on visual cues and positive reinforcement. I'm learning signs for my name, sit, good job, and no. I'm also learning that my bed is not a toy. I do well with a routine and am potty-trained. I may whine a bit in my kennel at night but settle back to sleep.
