Roo is an intelligent and spirited cattle dog mix who is eager to be involved in everything you do. She's loyal, always ready for an adventure, and has all the amazing traits that make heelers so incredible. Roo is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs as of July 10th.

Ideal Home

Roo needs an experienced cattle dog owner with an active lifestyle. She thrives on plenty of exercise and mental enrichment. A fenced yard is a must, as she will not do well in an apartment. She would absolutely love a home with another playful, energetic dog who can match her energy and provide a canine companion for play and engagement.

Training & Support

Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate, she settles down quickly and does well once inside. She is not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy. Her new family should be committed to continuing her training and helping her reach her full potential.

Transporation

Roo is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but she is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her $600 adoption fee includes transport, and there's a good chance they have a transport stop near you!
