Meet Ella, a 7-year-old Yorkie mix who is as sweet and silly as can be! Ella found herself in our care after her previous owner lost their home, and now she's searching for a new family to shower with love. This little lady is a true lap dog who thrives on companionship and will happily snuggle up with you for attention. She has a beautiful coat that will require regular professional grooming to prevent matting. Ella is a delightful companion who deserves a loving home. She's also a social butterfly who gets along well with other dogs and is not reactive towards cats. Ella would do best in a home with children aged 10 and older.

Ella would love a home where she can be your constant companion and enjoy plenty of lap time. She's also dog-friendly and cat-friendly, and can live with children 10 and older.
Ongoing Health
Ella has been diagnosed with Dry Eye Syndrome and will require daily eye wipes and prescription medication for life to keep her eyes comfortable. She is a trooper and tolerates her medication very well! She also has some crystals in her urine, and is currently on a prescription urinary diet. Long-term supplements may be an option if the crystals clear.
Training & Support
Ella is a well-behaved girl who is good with other pets and children over 10. She is also very cooperative with her medical treatments.

- You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID.
- If you rent or own a condo, written permission from your landlord or housing association is required.
- Proof of home ownership is required if you own your home.
- If there are other pets in the home, they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. A dog interaction at the shelter is required for homes with other dogs.
- All children in the home must meet Ella before adoption.
- An approved application does not guarantee adoption, and animals are not held for meet and greet appointments.
Transporation
Ella is currently located at our shelter. We can arrange transport to Wags.
