Josie is a sweet and loving companion ready to be part of your family! This approximately 7-month-old, 41 lb Staffordshire Terrier mix is the perfect cuddle buddy, who also enjoys playing with her toys, sunbathing, and the occasional chicken nugget. She has been living with children in her foster home and does wonderfully with them. Josie has seamlessly acclimated to her foster environment and is already potty trained, great on the leash, and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." She's eager to please and learn, especially with her treat motivation, and gets along well with other dogs, particularly playful ones. Snuggling up on the couch for a snooze is a favorite pastime, right after car rides, where she proves to be a perfect passenger. Josie was rescued from a county shelter as a neglect case, where she was emaciated. She has made a remarkable recovery and is now ready for her forever home, though she's still working on gaining a few more pounds.

We coordinate with third-party ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states.
