Meet Simon, a 3-year-old, 25-pound Schnauzer mix who is looking for his new best friend. Simon's world was turned upside down when his devoted owners sadly passed away, leaving him without his beloved family. He wasn't just a pet; he was a treasured member who was deeply loved and well-cared for, and he's ready to experience that love again.

Ideal Home

Simon is an insecure dog who takes a little time to warm up to men, but once he does, he's incredibly devoted. He absolutely adores women and would be happiest in an adult-only home. While he's slowly coming around to the cat in his foster home, he would thrive in a household with another small, bossy female dog to help him feel more secure. Simon is an active boy who loves a good game of fetch, going for walks, or hitting the hiking trails.

Ongoing Health

Simon is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Simon is housebroken, knows how to use a doggy door, and has mastered basic commands like "sit" and "paw." He does still have a few puppy habits, such as play nibbling, so a refresher training course would be beneficial. He is also working on his leash manners.
