Calypso

Calypso is a sweet, playful, and affectionate dog who is about two years old. She's a smart and gentle girl who loves to be around people and lives a normal life in her foster home. Calypso has some physical challenges due to DISH, a condition that has caused her spine to almost completely fuse. She is currently on pain medication, but once the fusing is complete, she will not have long-term consequences and will no longer need medication. The vet expects her to have a full and normal lifespan.

Ideal Home

Calypso would thrive in a home where she can be a cherished member of the family. She is good with other dogs and children of all ages.

Ongoing Health

Calypso has DISH, which has caused her spine to fuse. She is currently on pain medication, but this is temporary as she awaits the completion of the fusing process. Once completed, she will require no further medical intervention for this condition and is expected to live a full, normal life.
