Asher

Meet Asher! He's an approximately 1-year-old parti Standard Poodle, weighing about 45 lbs, and he's still very much a puppy! Asher is a friendly and affectionate boy who's full of playful energy. He just needs a little guidance to learn that enthusiastic "poodle hugs" can be a bit much. He's already house-trained and crate-trained, settling in nicely at night. Asher loves to chew, so durable toys are a must, and he enjoys puzzle feeders and enrichment activities. He gets along well with dogs his size and energy level.

Ideal Home

Asher is an active dog who needs a fenced yard, daily exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. He's not a couch potato and would thrive with an active family or in dog sports like agility or nosework. If he's your only dog, he'll need consistent activity and engagement. Due to his puppy energy, he would do best in a home without small dogs or children under 10.

Ongoing Health

Asher will require professional grooming every 6-7 weeks, and his adopters should be prepared for that commitment.

Training & Support

Asher is smart, eager to learn, and responds well to positive reinforcement. He already knows "sit" and "shake"! He's continuing to work on leash skills and will benefit from ongoing training.
