Meet Rosella, or Rose as she's affectionately known! This sweet blossom is an approximately 4-year-old Carolina Dog mix, weighing in at about 45 lbs. Rose is a delightful gal with a personality as cute as her smile. She's a pro at "sit" and "shake" and absolutely loves to show off her skills! Her biggest joy is pleasing her people, and she does so with such enthusiasm. Rose has a happy-go-lucky demeanor that's sure to bring a smile to everyone she meets.
Rose is a true survivor and a testament to resilience. She was found abandoned, dumped from a car with a collar so deeply embedded in her neck that it had become a serious, life-threatening wound. Her recovery was nothing short of miraculous, and today she is fully healed. She wears her scars with pride, a true hero who radiates happiness and hope despite all she's been through. Now, this brave girl is searching for her forever best friend to share her bright future with.
Ideal Home
Rose has not yet met other dogs or cats at the rescue, so a home where she can be introduced to new friends gradually would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Rose has fully recovered from her past injuries and is in great health. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Rose is already kennel and potty trained, and she's eager to please, making her a joy to train. She's also eligible for discounted training sessions with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training.

Transporation
Rose is located in Houston, TX, and transport is available out of state. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary and could be in a nearby town, county, or state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. You can track your dog's journey using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport personnel. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information. You must be willing to use one of these services if you choose to have your adopted dog transported.
