Meet Violet! Violet is a resilient and loving 1.5-year-old who was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX. Despite a difficult start, she has emerged as one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs you'll ever meet. Violet is a world-class cuddler who will army crawl across any surface just to be near you, her tongue always sticking out in pure joy. She is fiercely loyal and absolutely adores playing tug-of-war, especially with the hose!

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter who is committed to continuing her training to help build her confidence. She also does well with other dogs and gains a lot of confidence from their companionship, so a canine friend would be a great addition. While Violet is generally kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and fully potty trained. She is terrified of squeaky toys.

Training & Support

Violet already knows "sit" and is making excellent progress with place and crate training. She walks wonderfully on a leash. Her adopter should be prepared to continue reinforcing her training and provide a supportive environment as she continues to build confidence.
