Meet Glacier!
Don't let the name fool you... Glacier is anything but slow. This energetic, playful pup approaches every day like it's the best day ever! Whether he's chasing toys, romping around with other dogs, exploring the backyard, or searching for his next adventure, Glacier brings enthusiasm and joy wherever he goes. He's incredibly outgoing and loves being around people and other dogs. With his happy-go-lucky attitude and endless puppy energy, he's always ready for playtime. But here's the best part: the second you pick him up, his busy little engine powers down and he melts right into your arms for snuggles. Glacier loves squeaky toys, treats, outdoor adventures, and canine friends. He's going to be a fun pup to train and watch grow!
Ideal Home
Glacier's ideal home will embrace his puppy energy, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and appreciate the fact that life is simply more exciting with him around.
Ongoing Health
Glacier is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His spay/neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Glacier is currently working on house training, crate training, and leash manners, and already knows "sit." We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog's age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.
- We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
Transportation
Glacier is being fostered in Richmond, VA. We require that all adopters be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.
