Meet Huckleberry, a magnificent 6-year-old Labrador/Great Dane mix with a heart as big as his stature! When he first came to us in 2024, he was quite shy and underweight, unsure of the world. But with the love and patience of our dedicated volunteers, Huckleberry has blossomed into a sweet, goofy, and incredibly loving companion. He's a big, sensitive soul who might give a bark or two when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you. Once he realizes you're a friend, he's all about cuddles, unwavering loyalty, and sharing plenty of laughs with you. Huckleberry walks beautifully with other dogs and enjoys playtime with his pals. He's incredibly treat-motivated and eager to please, making training a joy. His affectionate and playful side truly shines when he feels secure – he adores a good game of fetch, loves being by your side, and dedicates himself to looking handsome 24/7. At night, this distinguished gentleman enjoys his bedtime routine and is ready to turn in around 8 p.m. sharp!
