Merci is a sweet 4 1/2 year old girl who loves to play fetch, especially with squeaky balls, and enjoys a good time at the river. She's a super playful pup, but also knows how to chill inside and will happily lay around if that's your speed. Merci is a considerate housemate; she'll let you know when she needs to go out and only barks once to come back in. She's very affectionate and loves giving kisses and being brushed. She's also incredibly accommodating, allowing you to move her food bowl while she's eating. Merci is comfortable being left alone for several hours and settles down quickly after meeting new people. She already knows how to sit and stay, especially for a treat, and sleeps through the night without any fuss. While she responds well to "Hey," she may need some help learning her name. She gets excited when she sees the leash, knowing a walk or adventure is coming!

Merci would likely enjoy an active home where she can play fetch and go to the river. She's also content to relax indoors, making her a versatile companion.
