Shadow

Meet Shadow! This handsome 6-year-old boy weighs about 18 pounds and is packed with personality. Shadow is crate trained, but his true preference is to be snuggled up right beside his favorite person. He's also a pro at potty training, politely letting you know when it's time for a potty break. Shadow coexists with other dogs, observing quietly rather than being the life of the party.

Ideal Home

Shadow loves his toys and playing in the yard, and he'd be happiest with an active person who has a yard where he can really stretch his legs. He would thrive best in a home with an experienced dog owner and no children. He also prefers females over males. Because his foster family suspects he may have experienced mistreatment from men in the past, he'll need someone patient who will allow him to warm up at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Shadow is house-trained and has basic manners but will need an adopter who can provide him with the patience and understanding he needs to build trust and show him that people can be trusted.
