About Betty and Wilma, a bonded senior pair

Betty and Wilma are a bonded pair of senior ladies, around 12-13 years old, who are looking for a loving home to spend their golden years together. They were recently displaced due to the sudden passing of their beloved owner and have been in the care of his friends since early June. These two sweethearts are grieving their loss and are hoping for a fresh start, together.

Betty is the more active of the two and has a deep love for her tennis ball, her absolute favorite thing in the world – besides Wilma, of course! Wilma, on the other hand, is a true couch potato who just wants to be showered with affection. They would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard, perfect for Betty to chase her ball or for both of them to nap in the sun.

They have a history of doing well with children aged 8 and up. While they've generally gotten along with friendly dogs of similar size or larger, Betty has become a bit more selective lately. It's unclear if this is a temporary reaction to their unsettled circumstances or her new normal. If you have other dogs, you'll need to be prepared to manage introductions carefully and ensure Betty can have her own space when she feels the need to guard her toys, treats, or food. For the happiest household for everyone, a home without other dogs would be ideal.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Betty and Wilma. A home without other dogs would be the happiest for all involved.
