Meet Palmer! This handsome, approximately 2.5-year-old Border Collie mix weighs 62 lbs and has been patiently waiting for his forever home. He's a resilient boy who is ready to be your perfect companion. Palmer is happiest when he's active, playing fetch, enjoying his toys, and interacting with his people. He's smart, athletic, and loves having space to move and a purpose to focus on.

Palmer would do best in an adult-only household that understands the needs of a driven, intelligent dog and is excited to include him as part of their daily routine.

Palmer is healing from a significant abrasion to his foot.

Training & Support

Palmer is house-trained and has mastered the "sit" and "wait" commands. He loves leash walks, but can sometimes be a bit exuberant. With consistency and regular walks, he will learn to be a perfect walking companion. He thrives with loving, consistent discipline and clear guidance.

Transportation

Palmer is located in South Mississippi. Transport to approved adopters in the Northeast is available for an additional fee. Virtual meet-and-greets are performed prior to adoption.
