Wally

Wally is a very sweet pit bull mix, approximately one year old. He was picked up as a stray with a severe neck wound and a limp, requiring immediate veterinary care. After treatment for his injuries and a positive diagnosis of Lyme disease, Wally is now feeling much better and ready for his forever home! When he first arrived in foster care, Wally was understandably fearful of everything, but with patience and love, he's blossomed into a trusting and affectionate companion. He enjoys playing with other dogs, his toys, and cuddling with his foster mom. Wally is house-trained and has no destructive chewing habits. He has a unique little nose, which might be from frostbite or a birth condition, and it causes him to snort a bit when he's excited.

Ideal Home

Wally needs a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to adjust and build confidence. A securely fenced yard is required to keep him safe.

Ongoing Health

Wally was treated for Lyme disease and is currently on antibiotics. He is up-to-date on all vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Wally takes time to warm up to new people but is a sweet cuddle bug once he trusts you. He is still building his confidence and may find new environments a bit scary initially.
