This goofy, affectionate boy is a true charmer, ready to fill your life with wiggly enthusiasm and sweet snuggles. Ivan loves ALL the toys, especially his herding ball, and he's a water-loving fetch enthusiast, though he might occasionally decide to keep the ball for himself!
Ideal Home
Ivan would thrive in a home with a medium-energy, playful female dog who can also give him polite cues when he gets too excited. He needs a feline-free environment, as he views cats as fun sprinting targets. Older children who won't be knocked over by his zoomies would be a great fit, as he is gentle and loving. He'll also need a yard to burn off his energy and adopters who enjoy training and play, and who can provide clear boundaries and routine.

Training & Support
Ivan is treat-motivated and eager to learn, making training a rewarding experience. He's still learning to read the room with other dogs, and while he's great with playful pups and confident females, he can be a bit much for mellow or insecure dogs. With gentle guidance, he's happy to take breaks and check in. He is also learning to give littles space.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking and photo updates. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
