He's house-trained, crate-trained, playful, affectionate, and eager to please, making him a fantastic companion for an active individual or family. Tahoe is not a dog who wants to just lounge around; he craves activity, enrichment, and interaction. He approaches new people with confidence and friendliness, and while he can be a little enthusiastic in greetings, he responds well to guidance. His intelligence and eagerness make him a joy to train, and he's already showing great progress with leash corrections and redirection. With other dogs, Tahoe is social and polite, preferring to engage with medium-to-large, confident dogs, especially females, who can match his playful energy without being overwhelmed.
Ideal Home
Tahoe would do best in a home with an active lifestyle where he can be involved in family activities. He needs a feline-free home, as he shows too much interest in cats. He also needs to live with dogs over 25 lbs, as smaller dogs may be overwhelmed by his size and enthusiasm.
