Dawson

Dawson is a 1-year-old, 30-pound blue heeler with a naturally stumpy tail and a personality that makes people fall in love. He came to us from Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he was at risk of euthanasia before making his way to North Carolina for a second chance. Dawson has blossomed into a friendly, social, playful pup who genuinely enjoys being around people and other dogs. He loves attention, likes to be part of the action, and has proven himself to be an easy, happy companion who fits naturally into everyday life. Dawson can be playful and fun one minute and happily settle beside you the next. He enjoys companionship, welcomes affection, and has a sweet, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to have around. His small size makes him incredibly versatile — adventure buddy, couch companion, neighborhood walking partner... Dawson checks a lot of boxes. He is dog-friendly, friendly and social, playful and affectionate, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and neutered. Dawson is healthy, happy, and ready to go home.
