Wallace

Meet Wallace, a magnificent 4-year-old, 99-pound Saint Bernard with a heart as grand as his size! Wallace is a gentle giant who once lived primarily outdoors due to past experiences with other dogs. He's a survivor, and despite a rough start, he's blossomed into a loving companion who craves indoor life and being part of a family. Wallace adores lounging, "supervising" meal prep for potential snacks, and is settling in wonderfully in his foster home. He's neutered, heartworm negative, fully vetted, and recently had a dental cleaning.

Ideal Home

Wallace would thrive in a home where he can be an indoor companion. He has done well with cats and enjoys the human child in his foster home, though he can be unsure of new people initially. He is not a fan of chickens. Due to his past experiences, slow introductions to other dogs are recommended as he can be intimidated.

Ongoing Health

Wallace has had a full veterinary workup, including routine bloodwork, a dental cleaning, and heartworm treatment. He is now heartworm negative and on his way to better health.

Training & Support

Wallace is doing great in his crate and settles in nicely indoors. He's a bit of a picky eater and has been enjoying canned food, as kibble hasn't impressed him yet. He also has a strong interest in table food!

Wallace is currently in the Spring Hill area and is looking for either a foster home there or a loving family to adopt him.
