Mae Mae is a stunning 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who, at first glance, might remind you of a graceful deer! She's as sweet as can be and a perfect companion for anyone seeking a low-maintenance, couch-loving friend. Mae Mae enjoys quiet afternoons, watching TV, and occasionally engaging with her toys.

Mae Mae's resilience shines through; she was found with a severely broken leg that sadly required amputation. Despite her past, she navigates the world with spirit and grace on her three legs. She's a champion of the neighborhood watch from her favorite window perch and loves to sprawl out and roll around when she's happy, especially in the snow! She's also house-trained and uses a doggy door. Mae Mae is ready to find her forever home where she can share her love and joy.

Ideal Home

Mae Mae would thrive in a home where she can be a beloved member of the family. She currently lives with other dogs and seems to do well. She'll need a leader who can provide consistent guidance and structure. Understanding the importance of a decompression period and slow introductions is key to her settling in happily.

Mae Mae is a three-legged wonder and is doing wonderfully. No ongoing health concerns are noted.

Training & Support

Mae Mae knows some commands and will happily go to her crate when asked. She enjoys chewing on bones. Remember that all dogs benefit from a period of adjustment and slow introductions to new environments and people.
