Meet Ernie.

With his striking russet-red and black coat, expressive ears, and face full of personality, Ernie has the look of a dog whos always in the middle of a very important conversation. This handsome 212yo, 50lb shepherd mix is equal parts athletic adventure buddy and affectionate shadow, always ready to be involved in whatever his people are doing.

Friendly, curious, playful, and wonderfully smart, Ernie does great with dogs of all sizes and brings a fun, gentle energy wherever he goes. Hes the kind of dog who can give you a mischievous look one second and melt into you for affection the next which makes that I can explain bandana feel extremely believable.

Medium-sized, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, Ernie is already polished where it counts while still keeping that joyful, goofy spark that makes him impossible not to love.

If youre looking for a loyal sidekick with brains, beauty, and a twist of comedic timing, Ernie may be your guy.

S.T.A.R. Group, Inc is a foster-based organization located in Corpus Christi, TX. All pets are in a foster home in South Texas and are transported once adopted. Our animals are listed in different cities throughout the country that has transport available.

Adoption Fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, current on recommended preventions and a ride on the next available transport to their new families' area.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. S.T.A.R. Group is made up of volunteers, so please give us a couple of days to begin processing your application.
