Zeus is an enthusiastic, oversized black Pug mix with a playful spirit and plenty of personality. He is friendly, energetic, affectionate, and enjoys toys, attention, and being part of the action. After making the journey from Mexico to the Pacific Northwest, he is ready to find a loving family of his own.

Ideal Home

Zeus has met cats at the rescue and seemed more intimidated than interested; slow, careful introductions are recommended. His compatibility with other dogs is unknown, so a meet-and-greet with resident dogs is required. He is listed as good with children under eight.

Ongoing Health

Zeus’s adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, a microchip, and preventative flea treatment. Continued patience and consistency with house-training may be helpful as he adjusts to a new home.

Training & Support

Zeus enjoys playing with toys and receiving attention from his people. He is listed as house-trained, though rescue dogs may need time and continued support while adapting to a new environment.
