Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl. Her perky ears are like little bat wings, and she loves a good scratch! Grace has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. She was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies when she first arrived in rescue, and now it's her turn to find her forever home! She can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. Grace loves her kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily; it makes her feel safe, and she happily sleeps there every night.

Ideal Home

Grace would do best in a home where her people are around often, as she notices changes in her environment and can miss them when they're gone. She is working on becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She is very strong and will require all of your attention on walks, especially initially, so no airpods for the first few walks. Grace has a difficult time when initially meeting men, but has proven that she can get past this after an initial introduction.

Training & Support

Grace is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She was raised by an unsheltered person and shows some signs of trauma, which she is working through with the help of her fosters and Save-A-Bull.
