TULIP #2

Tulip is a sweet, shy girl who may take a moment to warm up, but once she does, her affectionate nature shines through. She can be a bit skittish initially, but with patience, socialization, and one-on-one attention, she's expected to blossom. Tulip seems to have a slight preference for women, but she can certainly warm up to men too, as long as they are understanding and willing to let her approach them in her own time. She has lived with cats and generally does well, though she has a playful instinct to chase, which could likely be managed with training. While she may bark when crated if someone new enters the house, this is due to her timid nature, not aggression. Tulip would be overjoyed to be adopted with her sister, Poppy.

A home that understands and is patient with a shy dog, providing gentle socialization and consistent one-on-one attention.

Ongoing Health

Tulip is currently being treated for Valley Fever and is on medication. She is responding well to her treatment.

Training & Support

Tulip would benefit from continued socialization to help her gain confidence and improve her interactions with cats. Consistent training and positive reinforcement will help her adjust and thrive.
