Honey

Honey is a sweet and affectionate girl who will steal your heart! Everyone at the rescue adores her, and we can't imagine why such a wonderful dog was abandoned. Honey is gorgeous, with loving eyes and a resilient spirit. She's curious, smart, and loves to play, fetching like a champ! Born on February 15, 2020, Honey is well-behaved and listens well to strong leadership. She knows basic commands and loves to strut her stuff on long walks by your side. Honey has done well in playgroups with other dogs, though she can be a bit picky about her playmates. She seems to prefer passive female companions and doesn't like to be bullied. However, Honey has never met a puppy she didn't adore!

Ideal Home

Honey would do best in a home with adults or a family with grown children who can provide strong leadership. Her enthusiasm and energy might be a bit much for very young children. She could live happily with another dog, provided introductions are done slowly and supervised.

Ongoing Health

Honey was treated for tick fever and has been cleared by the vet. She will receive a full medical assessment before leaving the rescue to ensure she is in optimal health.

Training & Support

Honey has completed training school and is very obedient and focused on her "homework." She is playful and independent. While she generally gets along with other dogs, initial introductions and playdates should be supervised.
