Belle

Belle is a young Labrador Retriever with a happy heart and a serious love for her people. She’s a classic Velcro dog who wants to be wherever you are and is just as attached to her dog best friends. Belle is great with children and friendly with other dogs, and does well on walks, making her a fun and easy companion for an active household. She’s impressively well-trained for her age and eager to learn, though she’ll benefit from continued reinforcement of good puppy manners. With a little structure and a lot of love, Belle will grow into the most loyal sidekick you could ask for. Belle’s story began when she and her brother were left by their family without food or water, only to be kept in a crate in a garage by a good Samaritan before TSBR intervened. Just when we thought this sweet pup was healthy and on the road to her future, a routine exam discovered a life-threatening heart defect.

Ongoing Health

Belle has a life-threatening heart defect that she is currently being treated for. Rigorous diagnostics have been performed, and there is hope that her cardiac function can be restored and her underlying condition treated so she can live a full life.
