Bono

Bono is an 8-year-old, 23-pound Frosted Face who found himself at the San Diego Humane Society when his previous family no longer had time for him. He spent a month in a foster home where he really shined! Bono bonds deeply with his people and would love to be your loyal co-pilot for all of life's adventures. He's a quiet pup who enjoys long walks, gardening, and even watching TV! Bono is potty trained, knows commands like sit, wait, and stay, takes treats gently, and loves baths. He also gets along well with other dogs once he's familiar with them and rides nicely in the car.

Ideal Home

Bono needs a home with plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. He would do best in an adults-only home due to a past instance of resource guarding when he felt worried or stressed. He also has a strong prey drive and should not be placed in a home with small animals like hamsters or mice.

Ongoing Health

Bono is a healthy senior pup.

Training & Support

Bono needs help learning to settle and decompress after exercise. If he becomes overtired or overstimulated without downtime, he can become "snarky." He may also experience separation anxiety, so a plan to keep him occupied and comfortable when left alone will be beneficial.
