Nueces is a sweet, expressive pup whose soulful eyes will capture your heart! At 32 lbs, she's a loyal companion who always stays close to her human family. While not a big cuddler, she loves being near and enjoys occasional belly rubs. Nueces is a quick learner, though she's still working on not jumping for food – a gentle reminder to sit does the trick! She's a natural protector and will bark at unfamiliar sights or sounds, but she warms up quickly once introductions are made. All the pups in this litter are highly food-motivated, making training a breeze with the help of treats. They respond well to a firm voice and understand commands like "sit" and "gentle" in both English and Spanish. Nueces and her siblings are diligent with their potty habits, holding it through the night and aiming to relieve themselves away from their living space. They haven't quite mastered leashes yet but are responsive to a whistle. While they're still figuring out toys, they enjoy gentle play with each other. So far, they haven't shown any interest in chewing on household items, preferring to focus their attention on finding tasty treats.
