Radcliffe

Radcliffe is a sweet 6-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 8 lbs. This brown and white boy is looking for his forever person or family to share his life with. Radcliffe is a higher-energy dog who enjoys playtime, walks, and having a yard to run in. He's done well with a resident cat and is friendly with some dogs, but not all. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet would be essential to ensure they're a good match. Radcliffe would also be content as an only dog. He can be very affectionate once he gets to know you, but he does take some time to warm up to new people and can be a little apprehensive around men.

Ideal Home

Radcliffe would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of opportunities for playtime and exercise. He would be happy as an only pet or with a canine companion, provided they are a good fit. He may need a patient adopter who understands he can be a bit shy initially, especially with men.

Ongoing Health

Radcliffe has received a basic veterinary exam, is neutered, and has been tested for heartworm. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, and has had basic bloodwork, urinalysis, and an intestinal parasite exam. He is microchipped, and all medical records will be provided to his adopter.

Training & Support

Radcliffe can be a bit apprehensive with men, so continued patience and positive reinforcement will be key to building his confidence.
