Meet Dory! She's a 29 lb. American Staffordshire Terrier Mix, with an estimated birthday of 12/9/2025. Dory is a sweet and wiggly puppy with the softest heart and a tail that never stops wagging. While she can be a little shy at first with new people, a kind voice and a little patience will quickly reveal her joyful personality. Once she feels safe, she transforms into a playful and affectionate companion who loves cuddles and being close to her people. She's already shown interest in playing with other dogs and would likely enjoy a friendly canine sibling to help her build confidence and learn the ropes. Dory is a resilient pup who is learning that the world can be a kind and loving place, and she's eager to find a family to help her continue growing into the amazing dog she's meant to be. She promises to bring plenty of tail wags, puppy kisses, laughter, and love to her forever home!

Dory would love a home where she can curl up next to you for snuggles after a fun day of playing. She also thinks having a friendly canine sibling could be lots of fun!

Transportation
Dory is located in Houston, TX, and transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
