Dragonfly

Meet Dragonfly! This gorgeous 1-year-old Husky mix is a gem waiting to shine in her forever home. She and her sister, Junebug, came to us after an unexpected litter a while back. Dragonfly was initially quite shy, but her true, playful spirit has blossomed beautifully in her foster home! She's now fully housetrained, wonderfully well-mannered, and incredibly smart. Dragonfly is a little wary of young children and would thrive in a home with teenagers or adults. She walks like a dream on a leash, staying close to her person and often heeling naturally. Plus, her adoption fee is reduced!

Ideal Home

Dragonfly gets along great with other dogs and absolutely loves to play. She does prefer her own space when it's time to eat, though. She's a bit curious about cats but is easily redirected and leaves them be when asked. While she was initially a bit hesitant around her foster dad, she's made amazing progress and now seeks him out for belly rubs and affection.

Training & Support

Dragonfly is already housetrained and walks beautifully on a leash. She's working on her confidence around new people and situations, especially young children, and is making wonderful progress daily. She's obsessed with her ball and has started displaying the most delightful zoomies!

Transportation

Dragonfly is located in South Carolina. We provide weekly transport to the Northeast. Applicants not located on the East Coast should be prepared to travel to pick up their new family member.
