Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is an absolutely darling 8-month-old pup, weighing around 35 lbs, who we believe is a Lab/Pittie mix. She's got the most adorable panda-bear markings, impossibly cute floppy ears, and a sweet, gentle expression that will melt your heart. Poppy Lou is as sweet as can be with a wonderfully affectionate and easygoing personality. She's not a hyper puppy and is content to be by your side, soaking up love and enjoying life. She's already charmed her foster family, including children ages 3 to 16, and has proven to be wonderful with them. Her gentle nature extends to her doggy friends, as she's dog-friendly and gets along beautifully with her foster siblings, engaging in playful fun but mostly enjoying their company. While she can be a bit shy in new situations, it doesn't take long for her loving personality to shine through. Poppy Lou is crate and potty trained, walks well on leash with practice, knows "sit," and takes treats ever so gently. She's truly a sweetheart with an unforgettable look and a personality to match.

Ideal Home

A home with a backyard would be ideal for Poppy Lou, allowing her to continue exploring, playing, and growing at her own pace as she builds confidence.

Ongoing Health

Poppy Lou is a healthy puppy. All necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and spay/neuter, has been completed.

Training & Support

Poppy Lou is already crate and potty trained and walks fairly well on leash. She is treat-motivated and knows "sit." Continued practice and positive reinforcement will help her grow in confidence.

Transporation

Poppy Lou is currently fostered in Texas. Transport is available nationwide with our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
