Lil Sis

Lil Sis is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish her as a family member. She is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want her transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities!

Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Lil Sis can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life; in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Lil Sis is never without a safety net. She will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until her perfect home is found.

Meet Lil Sis: The Sweetest Little Pocket Companion! At 8 months old and weighing just 8 pounds, this Chihuahua/Schnauzer mix is the perfect pint-sized pal. She's people-loving, quiet, and incredibly sweet, ready to brighten your days and steal your heart. Lil Sis found her way to us through no fault of her own when her previous owner's landlord wouldn't allow her to stay. Her siblings were adopted quickly, and now it's her turn for her happy ending!

Personality & Superb Manners For a young pup, Lil Sis has an incredibly mature, gentle demeanor. She's a total sweetheart who has been an absolute joy to care for. She absolutely loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She is a naturally quiet girl who takes life in stride. She does beautifully in her crate and goes potty immediately outside, giving us a very strong feeling she is already housebroken! While she hasn't been officially tested on a leash, she is smart, eager to please, and sure to pick it up in a heartbeat.

Ideal Home

Because Lil Sis is a delicate 8 pounds, she would thrive best in a home without very small children to ensure she stays safe during playtime. She is the perfect size for apartment living, cozy couch cuddles, and tags along perfectly on daily adventures. If you have room in your heart for a loyal, quiet, and deeply affectionate companion, Lil Sis can't wait to meet you!

Ongoing Health

Lil Sis is already spayed and up-to-date on all her essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). She tested negative for heartworm on July 8. She has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. To ensure she is in tip-top shape for her new family, she will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate, all performed within 10 days of her transport date.

Training & Support

While Lil Sis is already showing excellent house manners and is eager to please, she hasn't been officially tested on a leash yet. With her intelligence and willingness to learn, she's sure to master it quickly.
