Loki (Neutered) (Photos 7/2/2024)

Loki is a handsome 2-1/2 year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix with a stunning black-and-white coat, huge paws, a long tail, and an adorable face featuring blue/brown eyes, a black button nose on his chubby muzzle, and short floppy ears. His journey began as a newborn puppy at our shelter, but he found a loving home. Unfortunately, he returned to us in the fall of 2023 and has been patiently waiting for his forever family. Loki is a big boy, weighing around 105 lbs, and is full of playful energy. He's often described as an overgrown puppy in a large body who doesn't quite know his own strength.

Ideal Home

Loki is looking for a home where he can be the "only child" as he is not good with other dogs or cats. He would likely do well with older children who are strong enough to handle his enthusiastic "hugs" and robust playtime.

Ongoing Health

Loki has been neutered and is ready for his new home.

Training & Support

Loki is very strong on the leash, especially when excited, and would benefit from an experienced handler who can provide him with the attention and exercise he loves. His foster family found that he did not get along with one of their resident dogs and caused bodily injury to her, so ongoing management and careful introductions to any resident animals will be crucial.
