Hi, I'm Kiara! I'm a sweet and curious Husky mix with a soft heart and a love for sniffy adventures. My sister, Kita, and I arrived at FOHA together, and we're hoping to find a forever home as a bonded pair. We help each other feel safe, so we truly thrive when we're together. I'm the more outgoing of the two and love high-value treats (cheese is my absolute favorite!). I might be a little shy when we first meet, but with patience and kindness, I warm up and show you my affectionate and playful side. I love exploring on leash, sniffing all the interesting smells, and romping around in playgroups with other friendly dogs.
Ideal Home
I'd do best in a calm home where I can continue building my confidence with gentle people and a steady routine. Another friendly dog in the home would be a huge plus, and since I already come with my best friend Kita, we've got that part covered! I am not a good match for homes with cats or small animals due to my high prey drive. I have done well with children 10 and older who understand how to approach shy dogs calmly and kindly.
Ongoing Health
All of my vet care is up to date, including spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), and I've received 1-month of flea/tick & heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
I'm still learning new commands, but I'm very treat-motivated and curious, which helps! FOHA can provide more details about my housebreaking and crating habits, but I'm generally tidy, routine-oriented, and make progress quickly in a predictable environment. I dislike being separated from Kita and can be unhappy in fast-moving or loud environments.
