BRUTUS

Brutus is a handsome 9-month-old Plott Hound mix who is bursting with happiness and energy! He's a very friendly guy who absolutely loves to play in the water. If you've ever dreamed of being a dog trainer, Brutus is your dream come true! He has all the talents and a willingness to learn, but he needs someone with the skills to teach him. He's great with people and other dogs and arrived at the shelter on April 23, 2025.

Brutus has been participating in the Guardian Angel training program at the Mabel Bassett Correction Center. He is set to complete his program and be "released" on Wednesday, November 19. If the paperwork is completed by that time, Brutus can be picked up directly from the facility.

Ideal Home

Brutus would thrive in an active home with someone who is eager to continue his training and provide him with plenty of enrichment and exercise.

Brutus is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Brutus is a smart and willing learner who has been in a structured training program. He's eager to continue learning and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and consistent training.
