TEDDY

Teddy is approximately 3.5 years old and weighs 10 pounds. His DNA test shows him to be a mix of Chihuahua, Yorkie, Bichon, and three other breeds. When he was rescued, he was in rough shape and needed to be shaved down. His coat has since grown back beautifully, and he's a very handsome boy who will need regular grooming. Teddy also had mature cataracts in both eyes. He underwent successful cataract surgery on both eyes, and after a few months of post-operative eye medication, his eyesight is now excellent!

Teddy is a total lap dog who loves to snuggle and is always eager to be on his foster's lap. He gets along well with most other dogs, but can be a bit overwhelmed by very active dogs who get in his face. We feel he would do best as an only dog or with an older, quieter canine companion. He is mostly house-trained but not perfect. He walks well on a leash and absolutely loves car rides. Teddy is going to make a wonderful companion for someone special.

Ideal Home

Teddy would do best as an only dog or with an older, quieter companion dog. He is not suited for a home with children under 8 years old, and experienced dog owners are preferred.

Ongoing Health

Teddy has had successful cataract surgery on both eyes and now has great eyesight. He will need regular grooming.

Training & Support

Teddy is fairly well house-trained but not perfect. He walks well on a leash and loves car rides.
