Hi, I'm Clyde! I'm a spirited, loyal, and very cuddly pup who was born in January 2022. I can be a bit reserved but also goofy, and I love to be close to my people, sometimes a little too close! I'm comfortable on a leash and harness, enjoy truck rides, and know basic commands like sit, down, shake, and "wait" and "okay" for doorways and meals. I'm crate-trained, house-trained, and have a daily quiet time from 1-4 pm. My Husky mix means I can be vocal, especially when surprised or hungry, but I'm also very affectionate. I'm happiest outdoors, especially near water, and enjoy chasing butterflies or just hanging out with my humans. I've done well with cats and chickens, and I'm good with kids who respect my space, though I'm not the best fit for babies or toddlers. I'm up-to-date on vaccines and preventative care and have been deemed healthy by my vet. I can get a bit obsessed with reflections and shadows, and while I'm competitive with toys, I may not always bring them back. I'm a work in progress, but I promise I'm worth it for the right person.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a home where I can be your one-and-only companion. I haven't done well with sharing my home with another dog in the past. While I'm good with respectful children, I'm not the best fit for babies or toddlers. I also get a bit obsessed with reflections and shadows, so it's best to avoid teasing me with those.
Ongoing Health
I am up-to-date on my vaccines, heartworm, and tick prevention. I go to the Durham Vet Clinic and am considered healthy.
Training & Support
I'm mostly house-trained and crate-trained, and I know several basic commands. I can be a bit competitive with toys and may not always bring them back. I also tend to get a bit obsessed with reflections and shadows.
