Bandit is a 71-pound female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky, born on July 21, 2025. She's a special girl, being the only one in her litter with that Husky flair. Bandit is full of energy and excitement, loving playtime and outdoor activities. She enjoys chasing balls, chewing on bones, and playing with her siblings. She's even made friends with a Great Dane, proving she can keep up with the big dogs! Bandit is a sweetheart with people, loves to snuggle, and gives plenty of kisses. She's great with children, though she can sometimes get a little too excited and accidentally knock over younger kids, always making up for it with cuddles. Her favorite game involves enthusiastically de-stuffing toys. Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door, but she is not yet crate-trained. Her foster family is working on leash training and helping her become more comfortable meeting new people, as she can be a bit reserved initially but warms up quickly with patience, encouragement, and treats. Bandit's mom is a purebred German Shepherd, and her dad is 81% German Shepherd and 19% Husky. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventions.
Ideal Home
Bandit would thrive in an active family that enjoys playtime and being outdoors. She has not been fully assessed with friendly felines, as the resident outdoor cat prefers to keep her distance.
Ongoing Health
Bandit was spayed and microchipped in early March. She is current on vaccines and preventions.
Training & Support
Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door. She is not crate-trained but is currently working on this. She is also learning leash manners and how to approach new people, and while she can be reserved at first, she warms up with patience, encouragement, and treats.
