Tony

Tony is a charming 3-year-old, 16-pound deer head Chihuahua who is full of love, humor, and a touch of mischief, making every day an adventure! He's a total velcro pup and lap baby who adores his people and thrives on companionship. Tony is also a fantastic snuggle buddy, perfect for those cozy nights in.

Ideal Home

Tony is looking for a family that can give him plenty of attention and won't leave him outside alone. He can climb a 4-foot chain-link fence, not because he wants to run off, but because he just wants to be back inside with his loved ones.

Ongoing Health

Tony is currently taking medication for what is believed to be seasonal allergies. His rescue will happily send this medication home with him to help him get started. He is fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Tony is crate trained, though he does need a little help to get inside. He is house-trained but has a bit of a territorial marking competition with a foster brother; a gentle reminder that he lives there too. While he's generally good with other dogs, he does have one foster brother that gets under his skin, leading to some playful growling contests. He likes cats and finds them fascinating, though they might be happy when he stops losing interest in them so quickly.
