Meet Boo, a charming 12-year-old Malti-Poo with a heart of gold. She came to us when her devoted mom moved into an assisted living facility, but even though her world changed, Boo's sweet and loving spirit remained untouched. She is a true princess who adores her people and fully embraces her role with grace and affection. Boo loves spending time outdoors, snuggling up on laps, engaging in playtime when the mood strikes, and especially enjoys luxurious massages. She is a devoted companion who thrives on closeness and cuddles with her humans.
Ideal Home
Boo would be happiest in a quiet, loving home where she can have plenty of companionship. Someone who is home most of the day would be ideal for Boo. She would also do best in a home with older children (12+) who understand the importance of being gentle and respectful with her.
Ongoing Health
Boo lives with IVDD (disc disease) and has previously undergone surgery. While her therapy wasn't completed before she arrived, she has made wonderful progress with our focused care. She can now walk on her own, albeit a little sideways, and for longer outings, she comfortably rides in her stroller. Boo requires bladder expression three times a day, and her future family should be comfortable continuing this simple, essential routine.
Training & Support
Boo has made great strides in her rehabilitation and mobility. Her new family should be prepared to continue supporting her with her bladder expression routine. Her affectionate nature and desire for closeness mean she'll thrive with a patient and loving approach.
