Aspen Lane

Aspen Lane is a beautiful 2-year-old female Husky mix who weighs 33 pounds. She has a heartworm-negative status and a spirit that shines brighter than you can imagine. Aspen's journey to us was a difficult one; she was found wandering the streets of Texas, facing hunger and the elements alone. Her initial hope of rescue was met with the harsh reality of a high-kill shelter, where she waited anxiously for a chance at a loving home. For a month, she watched other dogs leave while she remained, her name drawing closer to the euthanasia list. Thankfully, we intervened just in time, recognizing the wonderful soul that she is. Her foster family describes her as sweet, grateful, gentle, and full of a life she was almost denied. Now, Aspen is safe and waiting with hopeful eyes for the person who will finally offer her the forever home she deserves.
