Pryor

Pryor is a handsome and happy medium-sized boy who joined The Barking Lot family in March 2016 after coming from Riverside Shelter. We expected him to be a bit shy, as many Cattle Dogs are when they first arrive, but Pryor quickly showed us his outgoing and joyful personality the moment he arrived! At just over a year old, he still has plenty of youthful energy and a zest for life. Pryor loves people and other dogs, and he's not afraid to show his excitement when meeting either! As a true Cattle Dog, he sports the breed's characteristic "nub" tail and beautiful brown, white, and "ticked" coloring. Weighing in at about 32 pounds, Pryor is not quite fully grown, making him the perfect medium-sized companion. He currently shares a kennel with two other pups and enjoys playtime in the yard with his friends. True to his breed, Pryor is intelligent and active, and he'll need a forever family who understands the importance of daily exercise and mental stimulation for a Cattle Dog.

Ideal Home

Pryor would love a home with a yard, but he could also adapt well to an urban environment as long as he's kept active and engaged.

Ongoing Health

Pryor is a healthy young pup.

Training & Support

Pryor walks well on a leash and would make an excellent hiking or jogging partner. He gets along with everyone he meets and would be a great companion for social outings.
