Mochi

Mochi is a spayed, female pittie who will be 4 years old in May. She was abandoned as a puppy in northeast Texas and, after being bottle-fed to gain strength, she flourished into a stout, athletic young lady. Mochi is smart, responds to commands, and seems remorseful when she makes a mistake, always wanting to please you. She was named after a Japanese dessert the couple who adopted her shared on their first date.

Ideal Home

Mochi needs to be the only dog in the home and is very animal reactive. She does not play well with other animals, though she did get along with her brother. An ideal home would have a fenced yard and no small children. Mochi has never been aggressive towards a human but does seem to be protective of her foster mom.

Ongoing Health

Mochi is healthy and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Mochi is a responsive and intelligent dog who enjoys learning. She needs continued socialization and management for her animal reactivity. She loves car rides, walks with her harness on, and chasing birds, but should not be taken to a dog park with other dogs.
