Mac

Meet Mac, a 2-year-old Black Labrador Retriever! Mac came to us from a very challenging situation that has left him a bit shy, but with a little patience and love, he's blossoming beautifully. He has a big heart and is learning that it's safe to give and receive affection. His future is so bright, and he's eager to share it with a family who understands his need for gentle guidance.

Ideal Home

Mac needs a home with another confident dog to help him feel secure and learn how to be a wonderful family member. He hasn't met cats yet, and very young children may be too much for him. Older, dog-savvy children might be a good fit after a proper introduction, but no young children should be in the home or visit. A fenced yard is essential, as Mac is still getting comfortable with leash walking, though he excels at using a doggy door. He loves his kennel and has discovered the joy of comfy couches!

Ongoing Health

Mac's adoption fee of $150 includes his spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

Mac is working on building his confidence and learning to trust. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him continue to thrive. He's already house-trained and comfortable in his kennel.

• We do adopt out of state and require vet references and a video home check.
• Adopters are responsible for transportation to our location and for returning the dog if the adoption does not work out.
• Remember, dogs are pack animals. We do not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please be 100% committed before adding a pet to your home.
