Lucy is an 8-year-old sweetheart with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. She came from a home where she had plenty of space to run, but her energy eventually became too much for her previous family to manage. Sadly, she spent the last year and a half tied outside with only a dog house before being surrendered into our care. Despite everything she’s been through, Lucy is still full of love and life. She is a high-energy girl who thrives when she has room to run, play, and explore, and she will do best in an active home that can keep both her body and mind engaged. Lucy does have a strong instinct to chase, and may go after bikes, cars, and small animals, so she will need a secure environment and a handler who understands how to safely manage that behavior. At her core, Lucy is an absolute lover. She adores attention, soaks up affection, and gives the best cuddles after a good day of play. She listens well, bonds deeply with her people, and is incredibly loyal. Lucy is looking for a home that can match her energy while also giving her the love she’s always deserved, and in return, she will be a devoted, affectionate companion.
