Canela is a sweet senior Dachshund/Chihuahua mix with a heart of pure gold. She spent years in a backyard breeding operation in Puerto Rico and endured much, but her spirit remains incredibly loving and gentle. Now safe in a foster home in Lyndeborough, NH, Canela is thriving. She adores belly rubs, gentle affection, and will happily accept any treat you offer. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs in her foster home and enjoys playing with toys, but her greatest joy is bonding with people. Canela is spayed, fully vetted, and ready to become someone's cherished couch potato companion. Whoever adopts her will truly be the lucky one.
